For over thirty five years, we have been in the industrial chemical business.  Our business began as the solution to a common problem faced on a drilling rig. For safety purposes, a drilling rig's walking surfaces and equipment must stay free from drilling fluids and grease, both of which normally coat the entire surface of the structure during drilling operations.  Cleaning products currently used in the drilling industry were actually developed for cleaning gas stations and light oil and grease.  Due to this fact, high volumes of cleaning products had to be used in order to clean the equipment and rig floor since they are just unable to solubilize and remove oil-based mud quickly and effectively. In essence a person could scrub the rig for days using underpowered cleaning products without a noticeable improvement. The compositions of these powder cleaners are virtually the same as when oil well drilling began in the 1850's.
